THE DAMAGING EFFECTS OF FOUNDATION SETTLING...

Sinking foundations, cracked and buckled wall and uneven floors are problems commonly faced when homes and other structures situated on unstable soils settle when their foundations are subjected to extreme conditions.

Unlevel or Soft Floors? Do you feel like you're walking up or down hill? We can come in and install cement piers under your house and shore up your floors. If needed we can add new structural I-Beams as support

The Reinforcer System does not pull wall back but stabilizes un-stable walls and isn't quite as intrusive as the I-Beams. The Reinforcer is made of quarter inch thick carbon fiber, four inches wide and epoxied to the wall. Both can be painted. In the right application, this is the perfect solution.

Wall Bracing with the 4" I-Beams...
We prefer to excavate the dirt against the wall to relieve the pressure. This helps the wall to move back to as close to original as possible. We can install the I-Beams against the wall without digging it out. This can move the wall slightly but at the very least stabilize it. Sometimes the I-Beams need to be manufactured specifically to go around plumbing or other obstacles. After bracing we re-cement floor and tuck point the cracks as shown in the picture below.

Some problems include...

  • Foundations walls are buckled or bowed *Doors and windows that stick or don't open properly
  • Cracks in foundation walls
  • Cracks in exterior walls
  • Cracks in interior walls and ceilings *Sunken or buckled interior concrete floor

Major decisions are difficult for many individuals, however, when it comes to protecting your most valuable asset..."YOUR HOME"...It's crystal clear, you cannot ignore the fact that the foundation has to be made sound and free of water intrusion, foundation shifting, wall bowing or any other problem that you're having.
